Hell, no. This took 40 attempts (although most of them ended near the start).
See pic related for my basic idea, you can line up a lot of the archies by hugging West wall at the start, and if you go over to the East side after you can kinda get the additional enemies stuck on the blue highlighted pit to prevent them swarming you. I still requires a lot of awareness and some luck.
Also note, that my method for the beginning of the map is also unsafe, I just got sick of waiting for the barons to wake up the cyberdemon.

Thx. The fact enemies can get stuck so easily on those pits makes me wonder why this wad isn't complevel 2 or 21, but I guess I shouldn't complain since it saved me in the end.
