Removing IP count was such a dick move, but having no IDs or even completely optional tripcodes is just stupid. Original 2ch had them for a reason, they completely fix the samefagging problem (just use some more modern hash function so it's not easily bruteforceable). /b/ is supposed to be like the "original 4chan experience", oldest board etc. so fine, no IDs. But old 4chan had tripcodes, so where they are?
But enough of this, it's clear ranting about it will not change anything :(
