"Oi, that a threat mate?" Cattleya hissed.
"Now, don't go talkin' nonsense!" They bunnygirl behind the door exclaimed before adopting a placating tone. "Ah wouldn't dare offend his royal Savantness! Jus' give me a sec..."
You hear the shuffling of things behind the door, the jostling of keys, and the opening of locks.
"You know, you should think of a better password." You tell her.
"I'll get to it. One day." The petite bunny woman shrugged. "Now, I'm guessin' you want the meat 'n potatoes, so just follow me to the back and I'll show you the wares."
The inside rooms, in contrast to the outside, even the immediate outside of the alleyway, were perfectly orderly. The furniture, though all very old, was without dust. The floor, likewise, was swept. Both were clean, and both were polished. A small table adorned the makeshift living room, complete with plates, held a vase with a singular daisy in it.
This place obviously served as a home to her.
Apparently 'by the back' meant just a few steps behind a curtain and into another section of this place.
It was a bit cramped. Cattleya couldn't even stand up to her full height in this place, needing to slouch to not bump her heard.
"For a secret store hidden in a seedy alleway, this is pretty nice." You said to Pomegranate as you followed her into the store's front. "Trying to impress me?"
"It's also my home." She said. "Gotta keep it nice for when the kits come home."
"You're married?" Mel asked. "You don't act like you're married."
"Not yet, anyhow." Ponnamie smiled. "My husband passed away a decade ago."
"I'm sorry to hear that." You gave your condolences, soon followed by the rest of your wives.
"Hey, 's alright." Pomegranate said with a wave of her hand. "But enough mushy talk. Let's get started."
She gently pulled out a book until a click was heard. A door opens in what was once a wall, revealing some products.
