Liberals basically chose everything that was "minding my own business," while the right* has a wide range of feelings on who should get rights. The most important thing, however, is your identity politics (e.g. white, Christian, male).
It's akin to four nazis debating if they should expand in Africa, attack the Soviets, round-up just the Jews, or get rid of the gypsys/trans/mentally ill while they're at it. While, the consensus amongst everyone else in Europe would've been, "how about we just not invade anyone??" Latter group doesn't really have a lot of diversity, but that's because they have a more concrete, consistent set of morals. It's often why MAGA get into weird ass arguments over which conspiracy is true (e.g. anti-vaxx, flat earth, flouride, pizzagate, 2020 election, deep state, etc.).
*can't really call them conservatives, because they have no concrete values -- maybe populists?
