Doom 3 has the misfortune of being delayed long enough to necessarily be compared to Half Life 2. Valve are hacks now, but man they must have been channeling God's inner neck beard through direct gnosis at their peak. Hard to believe it's 20 years old now, aged better than most schlock made 10 years ago.
