1 his remembrance skin isn't that great. it has meaning i guess, but doesn't look great
2 honestly, he could've just gone and fight the fellowship rather than help the nightlord. without the priestess, the nightlord can't be stopped.
maybe the nightfarers will hold him by fighting, but this is now an eternal fight with defeat as the only end.
maybe ironeye prefers it this way, who knows.
