He really was. Much like how Emet is memorable, his writing and performance were fantastic. Maybe part of the attraction people have for Emet is what I have for Ilberd, but maybe to less of the "I gotta have sex with that old man" and still on the "I can fix this dead man"
When I saw him in that one dungeon (I forget the name, but when he was a figment) and in the DRK storyline I remember my jaw dropping because it was like a fun treat to see him again and again.
I don't want to pretend I lobotomized him, either. Too many people woobify characters and I know his actual character is still a bad person and I'd avoid it in actuality. But hoo mama highlander booba
