>Well you kind of suggested that you would be actively seeking it when you said that you want to know the intimate details of the people involved in drone drop videos
No I didn't mean it like that, I would watch / seek the footage after the fact (knowing them) not the other way around, which is also active seeking of sorts I guess but I wouldn't do it just to hunt sadness, it's a special kind of feel.
>but I did read the manga. The flashback arc was my least favourite of the entire thing
Honestly if I had to rate it on the manga pages alone it wouldn't make the cut, it's the entire audio-visual experience of the OVA that sells the story for me, with of course knowing the entire picture of Rurouni Kenshin helping, it's just too bad the RK show is just shounen aimed at children. Not surprised at all you didn't like it, it would be hard to recommend even to people that I know are not as sensitive cause it requires a particular brand of autism.
>And I definitely would have enjoyed Gladiator more if John Gladiator hadn't died in the end
I get it, can't attack this line of thinking at all cause in the end everyone wants to win, even if it means seeing others win, just that if you look by volume alone I think the good prevailing / positive vibes outnumber the bad by 10 to 1 at least and even from your shoes, if I was the same in only seeking good vibes, I'd be just as exhausted by generic trash only I'd have a smaller pool to choose from.
>Why should the master be correct in his ridiculous statement that swordfighting doesn't save lives?
Careful now, this leads to the nuke "50k people to save millions" talk and if you read any history it's not so simple. Naturally the statement can be 100% true if you tried to protect a loved one from an aggressor but we both know that's not what he meant if you read the manga.
