There would be not much controversy surrounding Seed if they had simply shown her appearance in the 2.0 trailer so that people would know what to expect. They just had to put her next to the robot or at least show her in the 2.1 story. This would be a much better way to introduce her.

The same thing, more or less, happened with Orphie. The trailer didn't properly show her personality, so people thought she was a badass because of her body language. Then, they were disappointed to find out that she wasn't like that.
