Partially true. Khamanei has boxed himself into a corner with his support for the IRGC, which has turned into a corrupt, power-hungry Frankenstein that has taken over much of Irans economy. If there’s anything that’s clear after this conflict, he needs to clean house with the Guards, or his office will become a complete puppet to them. He needs to start supporting opposing factions in government to provide a proper balance, like his office was made to do.
