Are human beings designed so that they need to "recharge" their discipline on the weekend.
When the weekend comes and people have no obligations, they don't usually meditate and drink lemon water to get ready for the next week. Given the opportunity they usually go wild and make impulsive decisions and smash a beer stein over their head.
I'm told that "willpower" is essentially just the same thing as good decision making.
I'm also told that this resets when you sleep.
People don't just wake up in the morning and feel like they're ready to confront more of whatever it is they couldn't take any more of the day previous. They seem to need isolated days to "reset".
Must one be a "party animal" to go back to being a civilized man when the working week begins.
Please for the love of fuck don't make me go back to this already
