This shit is such fucking cringe cope. There is not a single society in all of human history that idolized short men as more attractive than taller men. Not one. It’s a dimorphic trait. Men are, on average, always taller than women. Therefore, more tall = more manly, while less tall = more womanly.

What you have seen throughout history is shorter women being venerated as the beauty standard, as it is also dimorphic. Heavily patriarchal societies highly emphasized incredibly small, short, dainty women.

For example, Asia has had organized society for a long time. Their patriarchal system enforced male sexual selection bias, and men chose extremely small and meek women. They’d even bash and smash women’s feet to make them smaller and daintier (footbinding). But nature does not care for man’s idea of sexual dimorphism. What’s the result?
