Basically a colleague of my fried was about to throw away away a server but my fried suggested i get it instead. I did not know what exactly it was until i got it. Now im realizing that its a big, heavy, and old piece of shit that while very impressive for its time is basically obsolete nowadays. Now im thinking about getting rid of it and i have two options: drop it off at an recycling plant or sell it. Prices vary wildly from 30 to 800$ and selling such a thing would probably take some time because there is little demand.
But there is a possibility of the original owner getting wind of this so should i do it? I mean it would have been scrapped if i didn't pick it up but could you still consider this scummy?
