That's what has been by and large lost in the shuffle, the meme started with a simple edit of the top of Walz' face from the debate with the bottom of Vance's face from the debate. That edit might've been posted in /pol/ as soon as the night of the VP presidential debate, the screenshot of Walz looking gormless made the rounds and then at some point someone made the edit as an iteration of that image of Walz.

Then a number of weeks later you saw the first iteration of the meme that most are familiar with, with the long hair and full neckbeard, as far as I can tell that was made elsewhere but the OG may have been first posted here. I personally think its hilarious that no one knows it started as a morph of Walz and that it's blossomed into the shittiest caricature of Vance possible
