I only read this manga at the start and dropped it pretty quick, but man, thinking about all the time and money he spent on effectively simping really disgusts me. Did he get anything out of it in the end? I guess him actually confessing and getting rejected is some kind of growth, rather then just continuing paying her as a rental.
The only redemption for the series at this point is if she pays him back the quarter of a million yen, and even then, that only really redeems her character.
