Incorrect. In fact the term "transgender" was originally popularized by those inside the (formerly called) "transvestite" community and deliberately set themselves in contrast to transsexual people. Femboys are the successors to transgender people if anything.

Eventually it became an umbrella term and people who insist on separate communities or terms can be seen as suspicious. Transsexuals are the subgroup of people who seem to scare chuds the most.
