>lots of people get injured and/or die.
Yes, we know, third leading cause of death and all that.
>yes. i don't have a boss per se but yes i do voice my opinions. but i also practice within my scope.
So what the fuck does that mean? You'll give your opinion on the correct way to inject someone but even if you got an A on the essay on not contraindicating drugs, and you're really fucking good at it, if you saw some doctor fucking it up you won't say anything? Or you'll say something to some other doctor so he can go sort it? Would you complain to higher ups? If you know or suspect something you should always say, but I think what gets to us is this lack of curiosity and stay in your lane mentality. Your colleges tell you the vaccines are good and you just agree. Shouldn't you be the one who is good at comparing medical journals both for and against a treatment, and be able to appreciate both sides and how it still depends on the individuals health history? Are you actually not interested at all in the worrying findings?
>yes.
Story time.
>on the contrary, i deal with those people all the time. some of them are in this thread. the way to deal with them is to stick to evidence-based best practice and ignore the rest of the bullshit because evidence-based best practice has the most likelihood of being correct.
And as I was just seething, that evidence is subject to change. And we're talking about the barely used in humans before 2021, not finished it's full trial yet, novel gene therapy. Maybe all the evidence today does show it is safe and effective. Tomorrow that could change completely. And that would be completely expected after only 4 years. So many sound like they are merely regurgitating their 2018 text books.
