I won't lie I HAVE to use the companion guide after a listen. I often listen while driving for work, so I'll go an hour and yeah author will do 30 different voices for 4 different locations and periods and sometimes I need to retrace my steps haha
narrator is great, iirc I think books 1-3 were a different guy but book 4 has been good his Karsa voice in particular is excellent same with Tool. And he does female voice well which is rare
