If you're getting ads on Twitch right now try switching to a non-Chromium based web browser (i.e. Firefox and Edge). Brave tweeted out that they added Twitch adblocking capabilities to the default settings of their browser, and overnight Twitch broke the method that Brave used (which also happened to be the method that the scripts use (though Brave adblocking on Twitch is working for me atm)) the developers of the script are working on a fix but it may not work through uBlock anymore, you'd have to install the standalone script on something like Tampermonkey
