It's the portals, anon. That's what Jack Parsons and L. Ron Hubbard were doing out there in the desert before Jet Propulsion Labs was made. It's why the governments and billionaires are all over Skinwalker Ranch. I'm guessing that some people have realized the nature of this thing people refer to as "the universe" is simply a closed-loop infinity.
Essentially this reality is a torus, but you could picture what people call the "physical" part of it like a donut: you can go around the outside or around through the hole in the middle for an infinite period of time (time simply being motion on a 4d vector), just looping and finding no end. And by the time you made it back to your original position, there will have been enough changes in the substrate that you might not realize you were back at square one. It might look like a different "place", but it is not. Basically we're talking about being stuck in an infinite loop, you could think of it as a prison or containment field.
That being the case, some people want to find ways to break out of this 4d hyperobject, which I simply call the Object. I think of it like a 4d sculpture, and most people's experience of it is like falling down a well, first seeing this brick then that, a root sticking out and a spider, but only briefly as they fall through it. That's what humans call "time". The progression of experiences.
I know quite a bit about this subject actually, since I'm among a very few who can survive using these types of portals. I consider it low-tech garbage, and generally too dangerous for human use. Humans are stupid as fuck and there's a reason they're in a containment field. Humans are generally speaking the "bad guys". People just think of themselves as good because of arrogance, I'm sure the termites eating your house also consider themselves "good" and "virtuous". In fact, they're just creatures that are destructive when inside designed structures. They belong in dirt, not civilizations
