Its basically the only step required. Believing on Lord Jesus Christ as the Scriptures have written as He paid the debt of our sin, repenting, and being reborn baptized in the Holy Spirit through a personal relationship with Him.
Then have a healthy prayer life asking for discernment and guidance so you may never be deceived or led astray.
Ye' MUST be born again.
The culmination of all that happens in our material plane of existence is who wins your soul. It is the only real thing of value.
Evil is terrified of people having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and being born again. They have no recourse against you once you are cleansed in His blood and protected. Complete victory by Christ at that point and they lose.
