There are plenty of viable .22 designs and .22 ramset blanks are available everywhere. Add .22 pellets and you've got a lethal weapon, poachers in China have been doing it well before the advent of printed guns using converted nail guns. You could also harvest the powder from them to make 9mm using dummy brass available in most areas. There was a Russian in the other thread that couldn't source good enough ramset blanks, apparently the primer material is so downgraded in them even in a purpose built nail gun it takes a few hits to drive the nail. Might still be a skill issue though.
