Even if you somehow believe Frieza not being able to tank a planet explosion induced by HIMSELF (remember, he cut himself in 2 pieces) he already tanks Vegeta's all-out attack and Piccolo downright says it would destroy the planet of Namek. Since Frieza can't sense energy he only decides not to casually tank this but kick it away from the Earth after hearing Piccolo. Why? Cause he was sadistically taking out his frustrations on them for fucking up his wish. But he still kicked a planet destroying attack away without a scratch. This was before he was even at 10%
