Figured I'd get around to actually doing this properly. The build seeks to be a living network of shapeshifting machines. Nanites are the glue of this build, I use everything else through them as my Implement and technically my Outfit. I am both of these things. Nanites deal with some of the main issues with tech: Build time and resources. With the ability to build things at a rapid pace I'm quite versatile and adaptable. It also allows me to be in multiple places at once so long as it's within soul gem range, I can hide it away underground of I feel like.

This allows me to be disposable, taking normally lethal damage is perfectly acceptable since my soul gem is elsewhere and one of the other clumps of nanites I usually scatter around the battlefield can self replicate until I have just as many nanites as before. That or it's a biodroid I built with (not out of) my nanites and it's disposable anyway.

Bioshift is incredibly synergistic with this as it shatters the line between nanites and cells, dealing with a lot of the problems traditional nanotech has with power, fragility, and building. Sacrifice works well with it as I can be made of essentially nanoblood as I am both machine and biological. This allows me to RAPIDLY recharge if I take time to cycle through harvesting material from the environment, self replicating, and sacrificing chunks of my swarm to recharge my mana.
