In fact I think storytelling is probably one of the most effective ways to push propaganda to people.
And I think it has to do with the fact that for most of human existence knowledge would be passed on orally by stories, in evolution scale we invented writing basically yesterday.
And those genetics still govern us, people are much more likely to connect with and remember stories instead of just hard statistics, so they are easily swayed into wrong direction.

OP it's hard because the more you dive into the subject the more complex it becomes. Further complicating matters is that a lot of easily digestible "JQ" memes do have inaccuracies which are easily pointed out by people who want to discredit the entire idea of the JQ. Basically, a lot of such redpill memes are actually made by JIDF or similar groups for the sole purpose of discrediting anti-semitism once a higher IQ person actually researches the specific meme.
