I mostly agree. Makima doing nothing wrong is somewhat of a meme and a bit of truth in my opinion. There's arguments to be made that taking away humanity's free will is morally wrong, but the issue is humanity even surviving in the first place.
So far the events of part 2 paint what Makima had in mind so much less evil than what the other Horsemen and even Public Safety have been actively doing in their so far failed attempts at saving mankind.
