The best Sasuke could do with Genjutsu against Danzo was make him believe one of his eyes was open.

Even then, the best it got him was a double KO on Danzo, which actually wasn't an actual double KO since Sasuke got healed but Danzo wasn't and was still able to win the fight and rape him with Shisui's eye.
