You definitely saw something, most likely a david blain level trick to create some buzz. This is common in heavily populated areas. Not to diminish your experience but 99.99% of UFO related phenomenon are hoaxes made by people that get bored because they have too much free time. Just like how this thread was originally made just for fun about unidentified floating objects / abandoned ghost ships. Does anyone else have any difficult to explain stories or experiences?
