If I actually played Engage, I wouldn't really use most of the cast either because they look stupid or they got a dumb personality quirk. It's probably better you never know or know very little of their character. Say if you only know that Chloe is a foodie and you never look beyond what kind of foods she actually eats, you'd just think she's similar to Ingrid since she's also a foodie but Ingrid's got reasons why she's a foodie. Chloe doesn't. It's just her quirk.
I honestly wonder how Engage's cast would fair if they were vtubers. Especially since one of the criticisms is the character designs (especially Alear's) look like vtubers. Like imagine Alear's character as her vtuber backstory. Would she actually have people simping for her?
