"There was a lecture that was being held at the Academy that talked about that. We missed it with everything going on yesterday." You explained.

"It was indeed your genius that guided us to that action, my gallant Master." Ruby said. You squinted at her, but couldn't find any sarcasm in her voice despite her words. Thankfully she decided to continue. "Considering that that specific lecture was cut short yesterday due to technical errors, not to mention the fact that one of the speakers fell ill and couldn't come that day. In two week's time another version of it will be made, much better than the last." Ruby smiled. "As such, I commend your efficiency and foresight, as not even I, with all my webs and rumor-seeking, was able to find it. It goes to show that trusting in you, my gallant Master, is always the right choice~"

Right. You'll take that.

On the subject of the Academy, you'd almost completely forgotten about the lectures the Centrian Academy was holding. You'd already missed 'Corruption, Curses, And Mana Mutation' once because of all the responsibilities you had to look over yesterday, but today 'Kitsunes: Demi-Human or Beastfolk?' was being held. You imagined that this lecture would be helpful in giving you a better view of what beastfolk and demi-humans were, potentially helping you with your children since many would be born half-human.

But you knew skipping out the meeting would annoy those bureaucrats, and it was an ideal place to promote your typewriter. While there was a chance to see this lecture, and you were pretty sure you'd be able to find the time to catch it if you were quick, you also wanted to have some of the eggheads at the Academy identify the artifact the Drag On Gang had.

The only real concern here was time. If meeting the 'top-brass' of the Centrian bureaucracy took as long as getting the paperwork for the patent, then you'd likely miss the Academy's presentation on beastfolk.

Either way the schedule was coming nearer, making you make your choice.

>Go to the IDCA. The bureaucrats were expecting you. (Go to the government building and meet with the Centrian bureaucrats)
>Send the bureaucracy a missive, saying that you had other matters to attend to. (Attend the Centrian Academy instead) (Has stronger chance to catch 'Kitsunes: Demi-Human or Beastfolk?' today)
>No, you still wanted to do something here before you went anywhere. (What?)
