This is just thought policing. Fiction is imagination. Banning imagination means there must be consequences for thinking the wrong thoughts. Making it unsellable in major stores is just the first step. What will they do with those that share it for free? These illegal thoughts? Will they be fined? Force to pay for having bad thoughts? Jailed? Jailed for having bad thoughts? Disallowed imagination? I weep for the West. Attacked at all angles by all sides. There is no refuge for someone who wants to enjoy fiction and all of its treasures.
