somehow not surprised. all these meme wing/engine designs never get anywhere, they're just there to give the shareholders the impression that the company is doing something innovative. jet airplanes have looked the same since they were first invented and put into use.
the next leap in airliner technology will probably happen in WWIII when they develop a mega drone carrier and it turns out it also works well for passenger use.
