I mean point is, the bottleneck means that these differences you might have had leveled out, indeed, if you look at the medieval DNA they got from Germany, it looked like this, some basically 100% sephardic Italian, others with more genuine east Euro ancestry, but when you look at modern ashkenazim, the average is pretty leveled to the numbers I reported above. 90% levantine self-identified ashkenazim is an extreme outlier if you go by all the available ashkenazim subpopulations they have sampled from all over the place
