There's literally a line of potentially friendly/neutral Druze villages going up to the gates of Damascus right now and most of the Sunni ones are completely lacking in infrastructure to repel an armor advance.
The only constraints would be an Israeli stomach for civilian collateral (not so much because they care, but because they care about the US/EU reacting to them giving their project a bloody nose) and a willingness to deal with a potential Sunni insurgency afterwards (for those reasons, I don't expect them to go much further than around Nawa at most). The latter problem can be mitigated by demographic engineering by declaring it a safe haven for any non-Sunni Syrian that reaches it, with hundreds of thousands living just in Greater Damascus.
If the Israelis want things bad enough and are more afraid of losing the loyalty of the domestic Druze than burning diplomatic bridges, they can get pretty damn far into Syria without much initial effort.
