Let me reframe the question. If you woke up with zero memories and lived about a year or two with new friends in your new life then your memories of the life you once lived came back, but you found out the life you lived all those years was merely a simulation would you suddenly not give a shit about the life you lived all those years? Something tells me you wouldn't just be able to let it go. It's just not how humans work, and at least for a story perspective I think it would be poor writing to just have March say "nope, none of it mattered" and have her just fully return to her regular self.
