See I think that's pretty realistic honestly. Teen girls tend to have lots of neurotic anxieties about their body that aren't really based on anything and it's pretty easy for a girl with the very slightly chubby build shown here and not a lot of self-esteem to end up thinking of herself as fat especially if she's been bullied about it before
