Back in the day IBM models, like the T-series laptops in particular, stood out and were considered quite special and a cut above in a crowded market full of otherwise cheap mostly plastic junk.

Since the laptop/desktop side of the company was spun off as Lenovo all those years ago now though and that side of things became Chinese-owned ain't nothing all that special about them at all, now they're hardly any different to any other laptop/desktop manufacturer out there.
