I don't think Shuten Douji is well known outside of Japan. Most people don't even know what the heck an 'oni' is or means really. Honestly, I really think you're just thinking from a false premise due to your own ignorance.
If you're really interested in names of fairies, or heck even goblins and similar creatures of western tradition that much, this is one of the bibles you can find about it.

First couple entries already pretty relevant or tangential here, one happens to be in FGO as well: Aillen Mac Midhna (also so named or mentioned on Fionn's FGO profile), the fairy with powers of fire and sleep slayed by Fionn, who constantly was haunting the places of governamental power in old Ireland (Tara) at Samhain or Halloween. On the same page, Ainsel is the fairy from a story that is made reference by one of the underground rivers in Elden Ring, the other being Siofra (you can find the entry for it on this book too). You can find as many names and a good summary of them as you like there, or generally speaking, if you look into things with the warranted subject or topical care.

Hedgehogs actually do have some fairy tradition to them. Some fairies took on their form. I think it might originate from the fact they dig holes or burrows and fairies are by old definition mound dwellers or underground spirits.
