The only issue Marazhai suffers from is that there are way too many reasons to kill him and very few reasons to keep him alive, especially once you escape Commoragh. His actual content and writing is quite good, and he is absolutely fantastic as a Dark Eldar representative, too, which is impressive since most writers would've held back on the edge to try and make him more palatable, but instead they went all the way.
Which, again, is why any sane RT would kill him, but that's what a Dark Eldar is and should be. Meanwhile Yrliet shows off absolutely nothing cool or interesting about Craftworld Eldar whatsoever. She isn't even an actual Ranger. Absolute waste of a character slot, imagine how much better the game could've been with just about ANY other option in her place, from Ork to T'au to even another Imperium rep. Genuinely anything would've added more to the game and been a more fun companion than Yrliet was.
