Many things that are hostile to the thread are or were part of the OP, because the template is controlled by /vg/. The anchorhold literally tells botmakers to go to the other board. And don't forget trying to enforce a filter only in /g/. Look at the thread right now and you can tell there was never a need for one.
What's in the OP is not a good authority for what's good for the thread, it's literally the opposite because it was the "contributors" the ones that decided to split the thread, and the ones that have been trying to deprive it from those positive "contributions".
