So what did you guys think of Breaking Bad? It's one of my favorite shows of all time desu. I've probably seen it like 5 times. It's a very well made show with intresting characters and overall great writing. There are a few places it gets a little silly- like the poisoning scene in the later seasons, that just didnt make any logistical sense, or the dropped marie plotlines which probably shouldn't have been there to begin with- but generally, the moment to moment writing is fantastic. The acting is also peak. Everyone is stellar and nails their roles so perfectly. On top of that the production, everything from the cinematography to the use of visual story telling to music elevates the show even higher. While I prefer BB because I prefer drama to comedy, Better Call Saul is, I think, the objectively better show. The writing is better, the characters interactions are just as good, and the production, everything that was mentioned before, is just better overall because the entire crew and lead producers already had a solid show under their belt to grow from. Everything involving Chuck was brilliant. The cartel stuff did begin to drag on towards the end, tho. Overall, both shows are two of the best ever produced
