You're forgetting the most important part that nobody cared about some ugly scorpion that became an uglier scorpion but with more tails. The lore assassin just to appeal to Seraphine also didn't help either. They knew it was a dead in the water rework so they delayed it as much as possible just like what they're doing with Shyv.
