The master grade is just a better kit than the real grade. The parts all hold onto it better and it holds a pose better. The only drawback is that the gold parts are not color separated and the decals suck ass. The stickers for the gold are okay if you like stickers. It's not hard to paint though. If you do like to paint, it's a very fun kit to do so with. There's a lot of interesting surfaces to work with.
