Why is promiscuity bad? other than muh feelingz. If you don't want to marry/date a girl with a high body count, then don't, but don't judge people harshly for being the opposite. If you do judge them, explain why. I don't want to hear blanket arguments like 'it's not honourable or virtuous.

Modern people always say life was better in the past. But go back a century, and people were already saying the same. In Napoleon’s time, they longed for earlier days. Keep tracing that nostalgia, and you end up believing the caveman had it best.

So which era was the best?

The truth is, every generation romanticizes the past. It's not that life was easier then cavemen didn’t have medicine, electricity, or Wi-Fi. But nostalgia edits out the struggles and amplifies what felt simple or meaningful. Maybe no time was perfect. Maybe people have always felt out of place in their own era. And maybe the caveman, too, once looked at the stars and thought life was better before we moved to this cold cave.
