Moreso people know that the message came from me so my opinions and beliefs can be clearly and honestly portrayed.
Granted a trip does the work too, but I've been tripless way longer and now there's two methods to filter me instead of just one or the other. I want to socialize openly and I want to socialize fairly, neither can really be done with an anonymous post that has no hint as to who made or about what and if it actually is them.
It's egoistic to an extent I'd say, but it's easier this way to be filtered so people can only see what they want to see and ignore what they view as bad.
And if I am the bad, so be it.
