You. Yes, you. The one screaming, "He hasn’t released the Epstein files!" and "Trump’s hiding the truth!" and other slurs I dare not repeat.
Tread carefully.
You are one. We are hundreds, thousands. Millions. You aren’t just IN the minority; you ARE the minority. I don’t feel awkward or anxious supporting Trump around others, and your words don’t shake me. Many others, however, are stepping up for the first time in their lives. This is the first time many are embracing the bold movement that has been ignited for us—and it IS bold. Incredibly so. DON’T ruin this for them. We Trump supporters may have our differences, but we will not hesitate to stand up for our fellow patriots, especially against someone who so viciously attacks the leader who has brought us together.
Don’t take this the wrong way. I don’t hate you. I don’t fear you.
I pity you.
I’m sorry that you feel this way about us. I’m sorry that Trump is such a thorn in your side. And I’m sorry that you’re missing out on such an inspiring fight for freedom. Mostly, though, I’m sorry that you feel the need to publicly shame and belittle others. I’m sorry that, to prop up your own ego, you need to make others feel small. I’m sorry that your self-worth is so pathetically tiny that you have to tear others down, at least in your own twisted mind, just to feel whole. I am truly sorry that day in and day out you endure your empty, pointless, Shakespearean tragedy of a life.
I ask you politely to stop your desperate cries for attention, and instead invite you to join our ranks. Turn off CNN, stand with Trump, and embrace the strength and hope of this country, and then, maybe, just maybe, you’ll find what you’ve been so hopelessly searching for all along.
