I worked a pretty intense job with a lot of OT clearing $100k/yr (ex: nurse, tradesman, cop etc. etc.) for 3 years and then I quit to do a extremely laidback WFH job for $70k. Literally - I send 2-3 emails a day and do two meetings a week. The thing is, I'm 25, still live at home with nothing to my name but some savings.

I'm starting to regret not "grinding it" out a bit more, since I've pretty much hit my earnings cap at this laid back job. All of my coworkers talk about how they took a pay cut for this job because they wanted the work life balance.

Did I fuck up? I have no education & this job is a promotion "on paper" but the pay is so much less. I was working 80 hour weeks making like $6k a pay check at my old job.
