Engines on the T34 was actually very good. The problem was the transmission. As i said, the crew needed hammers to get to the 3rd gear and don't think about going to the 4th. Also everything you say about T-34 is, basically, cherry picked, since every production plant had very different specs, problems and perks. For example the infamous Ural Tank Plant No. 183 produced the worst spec of T-34 of all, a total of 23000 T-34 (50% of them more or less). In 1941, it took 10k man-hours to build a T-34, F183 cut that production time and only needed about 3700man-hours. They removed spotlights, no seals on the hatches creating electrical problems, no radios (only the command tank had one) so they needed to use flags in combat, no heat treating into the internal components, some of them didn't even have turret baskets and the crew had to rotate by moving themselves.
If you don't want cherry picked, we can only talk about overall numbers, and the official numbers are (stated by soviet historians)
6.600 T-34 lost, 54% of them by PzIII with 50mm gun, that THEORETICALLY shouldn't be able to pen or disable it.
