Here some informations about the cosmos:
There is a spiritual duality. The force of good are the angels, spirits of light, and the force of evil are the demons, spirits of darkness. It's created like this by God. So God is beyond good and evil and the Lord over both. The demons are therefore not enemies of God, they're enemies of the angels. God is just watching. And the humans are in the middle and are free to choose their side.
