The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov will not arrive at the Verkhovna Rada to report on the state of fortifications in key areas of the front.
This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, emphasizing that the expected report of the minister on defense structures will not take place - "The Minister of Defense will not come to the Rada today to visit the fortifications either."
Earlier, on June 18, the Verkhovna Rada voted to summon Rustem Umerov to the parliament. The deputies demanded explanations from him regarding the problems with the construction of fortifications, especially in the Sumy region, where the Russian army has recently been intensifying its offensive actions.
The decision was supported by 152 MPs, and the report itself was to concern not only Sumy, but also Kharkiv, Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
